The light Within

No light penetrates the darkness
imposed upon me by your mask
just the light of your skin
as it presses against mine
the electric shock of contact
the thrill of connection

I can hear your breath
and it's ragged
harsh
every bit as excited as mine

As your fingers wander and probe
explore
claim
silently command my attention to each rough digit
you leave a trail of electric sparkles
that light up my skin
setting my world aglow
flaming the light within
